Kirkpatrick Farms Krakens

Swim evaluations are mandatory for all new Krakens aged 7 & younger. The Krakens is a swim team, not a swim school. Each swimmer must be capable of the following requirements prior to joining the team:

• swim one length of the pool unassisted, any stroke (without touching the wall, lane line or pool bottom)
• stay afloat in the water for 30 seconds

Evaluations will be conducted by a member of the coaching staff or Board of Directors to ensure each swimmer has the chance to meet the necessary requirements to be on the team.

Evaluations will occur the first week of practice (May 26 & 28, 2026).  Swimmers who do not meet the requirements, or fail to take the evaluation, will be withdrawn from the team with a full refund of fees.
