Volunteer Opportunites
The Krakens is a volunteer-run community swim team. In order to run meets smoothly we require all of the swimmers' families to pitch in and help out. Fortunately, there are plenty of opportunities available, so everyone should be able to find something that fits their skills and interests. To ensure that the team and meets run smoothly, we need volunteers to perform all manner of duties from meet officials, timers, board members, committee leads, and more. Please remember that none of these positions will keep you from enjoying the meets and seeing your children participate.
From your Swimmer Registration - Volunteer Waiver:
The Krakens are a volunteer run summer swim team, we cannot run swim meets without your help. Volunteering is required for each family. In the past, the Krakens have collected volunteer checks. This season, each family will save a credit card on file. If you do not meet your families volunteer requirements by the end of the season, we will charge the credit card on file $250.
There are no partial credits or refunds - all volunteer points must be fulfilled. Volunteer Points will be determined after registration has closed.
Withdrawal and refunds - Swimmers cannot receive a refund after May 29, 2026.
